What conditions qualify for an ESA letter?

Any mental health condition recognized in the DSM-5 may qualify you for an ESA letter, provided it substantially limits one or more major life activities and a licensed clinician determines that an emotional support animal provides therapeutic benefit.

The Fair Housing Act does not specify a list of qualifying conditions - eligibility is determined through individual clinical evaluation, not by condition name alone.
